Policies

Deposit/Confirmation:
Deposit in the amount of one night's stay is due fourteen days from the date of reservation. A credit card can be used to guarantee a room. (American Express, MC, VISA). The balance is due on your arrival. An additional deposit is required for special gatherings.

Cancellation:
Reservations made less than 14 days in advance of your arrival must be guaranteed by a credit card. Cancellations require 10 days notice prior to your scheduled arrival date for full refund of your deposit.

Check-In/Out:
Check-in time is anytime between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. check-out time is 11 a.m. Please make special arrangements with us if these times are inconvenient. Also please make a reservation for special gatherings, lawn parties, etc.

Pets/Smoking:
For the comfort of all our guests we usually cannot accommodate pets, and smoking is not permitted inside the main house or dependencies.

Children:
Children can be welcomed under situations that do not disturb the other guests. We encourage families with younger children to consider reserving the East Barn. For daytime fun Lake Anna State Park is only 5 minutes away.
